9:30

9 minutes 30 seconds...

I've gotten my mile down to 9:30... its only 1:31 more than I would like it to be. (In HS my personal best was 7:59.)

IF

If I take all the classes I plan on taking this summer... then I'll only have 14 classes left. That's like 7 a semester! OMG! The end is finally going to be in sight. I need to talk to my advisor though to see about maybe getting to student teach next spring... and then I'll be able to get a VA teaching license... and I'm also thinking about the Christian Schools teaching license.

...so thats the news for now...

Just in case you were confused...

Jeremy hasn't left yet. So, disregard all of the "I'm already starting to miss him" posts. He usually came home the day after I wrote those. LOL.

In other news, I've been working out lately... yet I don't seem to be losing weight. How long do I have to wait for that to start? **update 3/27/05 - I'm down 2 pounds...and even less without clothes...**
Happy Easter tomorrow! I'll try and get pictures of the Easter Puggy's when I go over there... anyone got some bunny ears?

He finally did it!

Jeremy got his "Fish" or Dolphins today. The Dolphin fish is the symbol for the Submarine Service. He started working on his qualifications after he got here in November 2003... Isn't he cute?

(I had to remove the photos b/c they were messing up my template. You can still see them if you click the links!!)

Up Close and Personal

When I get the pictures the Yeoman took, I'll try and post them.

Finally

I think he finally left... the boat has been trying to leave since Thursday... we'll see if I get a phone call tonight from him or not... I miss him already... we had a pretty good weekend together, but having to say Goodbye everyday kind of sucked. I think this is the last time they're going out for a while. I HOPE. As much as I shrug it off, I really have to admit that I hate it. Yes, we did go 8 months without seeing each other, but that was before we were married, and now that we're permanently attached, it's a whole different ball game. Yes, work and school keep me pretty busy, but what about the rest of the time? (Like right now...)

...sigh...

Wacky Wireless

Frickin' A... my wireless is being screwy, and so in the middle of one of my quizzes, it decides to crap out. So, now that attempt is blocked until I can convince my professor to let me re-try it. This is like the 3rd time this has happened to me. And I can't use the big girl computer b/c it doesn't support realplayer...and thats what the sound files are in. frickin proprietary crap!

i already miss ermy... and he hasn't even been gone a whole day yet... i miss the phone calls the most. they make me smile. well, and i miss seeing him for the first time when he comes home. that always puts a smile on my face, unless i'm grumpy at him. in that case, he gets a cute pouty face from me when he walks in the door. :)

i was supposed to go work out with matt tonight, but mike got sick and he had to take care of him. so, hopefully we can go tomorrow. i need to get this flubber off before ermy comes back, so i'll be all sexy like i used to be...pre-marriage. haha.

goodnight.

What state was the toothbrush invented in?

West Virginia... because if it had been invented in any other state, it would be called a TEETHbrush. HAHA.

Anywho, went to the orthodontist today. Haven't been since '99... I SWEAR THAT MY DOG ATE MY RETAINERS!! My mom still doesn't believe me... so yeah, I can either re-straighten my teeth and fix my bite then get a retainer that works the same as an occlusal guard (a night guard that releases the tension on my TMJ ligament...) for a lovely $3200, or I can keep my crooked teeth and get an occlusal guard from the dentist for a mere $400... soo.... thats my dilemma... surgery won't really do anything except put a lot of pain in my mouth and make me not be able to eat for a while.

So, now I just hafta look at the fundage situation (is fundage a word?). I would LOVE to have straight teeth again... but this time I'd ask for a permanent retainer for my bottom teeth...maybe.

I could go for a big Oreo cookie ilkshake.

Eighty-One-Year-Old Woman Gets Prison Time

(Norfolk, VA) -- An 81-year-old Hampton woman will head to prison for 18 months on a conviction of tax evasion. Blanche L. Cordes pled guilty in November to filing a false tax return. The offense was a result of an investigation of Cordes' embezzlement of almost one-million-dollars from Sanitary Engineering Incorporated, where she worked as an accountant. In 2003, Sanitary Engineering sued Cordes and the case was settled out of court. In addition to the prison time, Cordes must sell her Hampton home to help pay more than 295-thousand-dollars that she owes to the Internal Revenue Service. When she gets out of prison, Cordes must pay the IRS 400-dollars a month until the debt is cleared. The frail grandmother who has medical problems is to turn herself in to state authorities to begin serving the prison sentence May 9th.

Well, at least the Justice Department is being fair with EVERYONE. But that poor woman is not going to make it in jail. I bet she won't make it but like 1 or 2 months, as sad as that is to say.

$$ ZERO BALANCE $$

MY CREDIT CARD IS PAID OFF!

All $1026.88 of it... (okay, so I was $26.88 over my limit. OOPS.) Gotta love tax returns. And the loans that we took out for our computers will be almost paid off too.... WOOT! No more credit cards, except for Jeremy's. It's a good rate. I think we should keep it.

I do need to take out an Educational Loan for my summer classes though. (Maybe that will motivate me even more to do good in the classes.)
